To develop and implement an export strategy for a Swiss food group who had so far only operated inside Switzerland.
Approach
In an analysis of the product range, ifm Food Marketing first defined those products that were generally suitable for export and drew up a precise correlation between markets and products. We created a totally new brand for the export products. ifm Food Marketing chose the business partners and importers. We implemented all the concepts ourselves and the processes were controlled by management on time.
Result
Within 5 years, our client built up exports to 18 countries totalling CHF 35 millions.
