Guido Egli has profound knowledge of the international food business, 40 years of experience and a far-reaching global network in this area.
After studying in Switzerland, Italy, France, England and Spain Egli worked as a trader on the international food commodity market. Subsequently he took on management positions in renowned food and beverage companies - he worked as marketing and sales director of the Emmi Group and he was able to use his experience as CEO and delegate of the Board of Directors of Hero Switzerland.
In 1996 Egli set up his own company, ifm Food Marketing. Under an insourcing mandate he was CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mövenpick Foods Ltd and CEO of the Mövenpick Holding AG. Guido Egli is on the Board of Directos of many well-known Swiss companies, e.g. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Grand Casino Luzern-Group, Lucerne, Chairman of the Meyerhans Mühlen AG, Weinfelden, member of the Board of Directors of the Reitzel Holding SA, Fribourg, Remimag Holding AG, Zug as well as in companies in Germany, Italien, Hongkong and Singapore.
